Historically underserved students are failing math at alarming rates. We have a math equity problem.

But what if re-engaging students who have been historically unsuccessful with math was easier than you thought?

I WANT IN!
NICE TO MEET YOU

I'm Juliana Tapper

I am a former high school math support and Algebra 1 teacher and co-teacher having taught and led departments at high schools in South Central Los Angeles, East San Jose, and Denver. I also served as a district math coach and TOSA where I led professional development for math and special education teachers across thirteen urban high schools before starting my own company, CollaboratEd, to provide secondary math teachers with incredible PD across the US.

I'll be totally transparent. My first few years of teaching were a HOT mess. But I had an unwavering belief in my students' ability to achieve at high levels so I tried and tweaked and retried and re-tweaked how to maximize student achievement when they were multiple grade levels below until I created the Math Wars Method™️ that I'm sharing with you in this free mini-workshop created just for administrators.

Soon, 75% of my high school math intervention students - all of whom were Black & Brown and receiving free or reduced lunch - began scoring proficient on district benchmarks. And once I began sharing the Math Wars Method™️ with other teachers, they saw results too! In fact, they report an average 46% increase in student pass rates after applying these strategies. Let me show you how your teachers can get these results and increase equitable outcomes in this training!
