Hi, I'm Juliana! 

And I help 6-12th grade math educators become gatebreakers instead of gatekeepers-- unlocking confidence and possibility for struggling students.

I started my career as a high school math teacher, and quickly realized that traditional intervention methods weren't enough. 

 

My students were smart, capable, and resilient-- but the system wasn't serving them.  Too often, teachers were left without practical tools, and struggling students were left behind.  

 

That's when I knew I had to do more.  I became a district instructional coach and later launched CollaboratEd to support teachers and leaders at scale.  Today, I partner with schools and districts nationwide to shift math education from a gatekeeping system into a gatebreaking movement.  

On a personal note: I'm a wife, mom, and chai tea enthusiast who's called both the beaches of California and the mountains of Colorado home.  

 

No matter where I am, my heart is in the classroom-- helping teachers feels supported and students feel capable.
